Who we are

This site, hoozyelab.com, is run by Hoozye Lab, LLC. This policy covers the whole site, including the interview chat and the contact form.

What we collect

  • What you tell us: the description you type on the home page, your answers in the interview, and anything you write in the contact form.
  • Interview notes: as you answer, our AI writes short notes on how your business runs, which areas of work were covered, and an estimate of how good a fit our services might be.
  • Contact details: your name and email, plus your business or organization, website, city and state if you choose to give them.
  • Technical details: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic details such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to keep the site working and secure.

We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.

What stays on your device

  • A small cookie remembers the language you picked, for up to a year.
  • If you choose “Save and close” during an interview, your conversation and the contact details you entered are kept in your browser for up to 30 days, so you can pick up where you left off. They're removed when you finish the interview, start a new one, or clear this site's data in your browser.

How we use it

  • To prepare your plan and email it to you.
  • To reply to you and follow up about your plan.
  • To decide which conversations to follow up first. The AI's fit estimate helps us sort them, but a person on our team makes every decision.
  • To improve the interview and our services.
  • To keep the site secure and stop misuse.

We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

The AI in the interview

The interview questions and notes are written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, so your answers are sent to Anthropic to do that. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, they aren't used to train its models. Anthropic may keep them for a limited time under its own policies, for example to prevent misuse.

A person on our team reviews your notes before any plan is sent. Chats that clearly aren't about a business, such as random typing, end early and aren't saved.

Who we share it with

  • Companies that run parts of the site for us: our hosting provider, our AI provider (Anthropic) and, once it's set up, our email provider. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Anyone the law requires us to share it with, or when it's needed to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
  • A company that takes over Hoozye Lab, if that ever happens, under this same policy.

How long we keep it

We keep interviews, including unfinished ones you chose to save, and contact messages while we're working with you, and no longer than two years after we last hear from you. Ask us and we'll delete them sooner. If you close an interview without saving, we don't keep it at all.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you. We'll reply within 45 days, and usually much sooner. We may email you to confirm the request really came from you.
  • Business, website, city and state are always optional.
  • You can leave the interview at any time. If you close it without saving, nothing is kept.
  • Depending on where you live, such as California or Texas, state law may give you more rights. We'll honor them.
  • We don't track you across other websites, so a browser's “Do Not Track” setting doesn't change anything here.

Please leave out sensitive details

The interview never needs customer or patient details, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or health information. Please don't include them.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise nothing will ever go wrong.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects information you've already given us, we'll tell you before it applies.
